It was close enough to the town centre but fare enough from the pubs and clubs. Really close to the entertainment area and eating out places.

Just that the room above us sounded like there was a family of Rhinos upstairs.

The staff were very welcoming, efficient and very pleasant at all times.Breakfast, despite being busy, was quick and more than adequate with a varied choice. The location was excellent with access to the City centre and Barbican/Hoe areas were well within walking distance.

Our stay was from 28th to 30th July.It was a very warm period and the temperature inside the hotel, specifically our corridor and room was very high.It was not possible to leave the room window open due to traffic noise (not a problem with window closed and double glazing).Fans were provided but air conditioning would certainly have been an advantage.

The weather was fairly warm and the hotel couldn't cope. The windows in the room could only be opened a very samll amount, and the rooms were not air-conditioned (as virtually all new hotels are these days). Consequently, the room was like a sauna and it was very difficult to sleep. The management were aware of this and provided fans, but this was not a succssful solution.

The bedrooms could do with air conditioning as very stuffy.

The hotel was extremely clean with large comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful. If booking make sure you ask for a harbourside room as these are quiet with a pleasant outlook. The other side is by a road with lots of noisey drunks! Breakfast was reasonable and the waiters were attentive. Overall a good hotel in a central position in Plymouth.

The rooms are very hot on a warm summers day. The fan provided wasn't sufficient on the first nights stay.

Very good rooms as always, easy to get to

Do not recommend eating at the Table Table next door (part of the pi group) unless you have children. Very noisy and cramped, especially as it was just before the schools broke up. Would recommend walking across the bridge into the Barbican area for alternative restaurants/pubs.

Ease of booking in and friendliness of staff. Breakfast was excellent and value for money and the supervisor on the day was very attentive and made you feel important which was nice.

Size of room / Fans /Sheets instead of duvet(warm nights)

Best bathroom we have ever had in a Premier Inn. Helpful and friendly staff.

Footpath to the Barbican not signposted. Most expensive Premier Inn to date.

Very friendly staff and nice room with a view of the harbour. We spent a full week here and did not regret it.

Friendly staff, comfy bed & excellent breakfast.

Roomm was extremely hot making it difficult to sleep although a fan was provided. We were in aroom at the back which was very noisy with road traffic and people shouting outside after 12am. Also noise from a scrap yard across the road which started work at around 7am, this also wasn't nice to look out on. Room at front should be okay.

  • Group of friends

Good value clean room just what we wanted.

Only family room left when we booked, we didn't need the extra two beds restricted space.

The ideal proximity to all aspects of Plymouth facilities. The good nature and helpful attitude of staff even when hotel environment could not be controled, aircon would be a wothwhile extras even at additional cost. Food choice was excellent at hotrl an would recomend prebooking of breakfast to keep you going through the day. We cannot over emphasise the good humour and helpfulness of the staff.

Only issue was the lack of aircon but weather was exceptional.I Would have been willing to pay extra for such a rare occassion.

Warm welcome by hotel reception. Comfortable bed with spare pillows. Central location.

Lots of noise outside. Not enough parking, on our return late evening we could't park outside our hotel and had to go to a sister hotel to park. Please could you put more tea bags in the room, 2 is not enough for an overnight stay when there are two pepole staying, although apprently there were more available from reception.
